I am very sorry to hear of your sweet mother's passing. I have many fond memories of her and her kindness for the neighborhood kids of the Jere Whitson neighborhood. I know she will be missed very much by her family.

Condolence: Our prayers and condolences to the entire family of Mrs. Pearl. She was truly a special lady. I will never forget her sweet smile and laugh. She and my great-grandmother (Pearl Rector) were the best of friends for such a long time. Her granddaughter and I shared the same first name and both the Pearl's always chuckled when she would be talking of her granddaughter and I thought she was calling me from the other room. Now two best friends have been reunited. Heaven has gained another angel and another beautiful Pearl.

Condolence: I love my aunt "Sis"...to be in her presence for 5 minutes, you knew what it felt like to be genuinely loved. She was an angel on earth. She was the kindest, most sweetest lady and not to mention how funny she was. My grandma, her sister-in-law, Alice and her were very close. Her and Uncle "June" were always at the house and when my grandma was ill with cancer, Sis was right there helping to take of "her Al" as she called her. My heart breaks as I can't make the funeral, not only did I not find out until late last night, but I'm home with a broken leg for the last several months, so I can't walk or drive. Any of her immediate family that reads this...I'm so sorry for the loss of that beautiful, love filled woman...we were all so blessed to have been loved by her, that I know!! Please tell my Uncle June that I love him...I know this is beyond devastating for him...thank you :(

Condolence: We are so very sad to hear that "mammy" Sherfield passed away. She was such a sweet and kind lady who always showed such pride in her grandchildren. We have not seen her since the "baseball" days but she still crossed our minds when we thought of those times. Again, so very sad to hear that she passed away.

Condolence: Grandma was a unique combination of class, grace, and sharp wit that few seem to possess these days. Her faith in God was one of the strongest I've ever seen, and there truly is no doubt that Heaven rejoiced when she walked through those gates, whole again in mind, body, and spirit.

I love you Grandma, rest in peace.

Condolence: Memaw had a way of reflecting onto others the best part of themselves. Her very presence had a certain touch of sweetness that seemed to capture your heart and and leave you with a sense of worth. She was beautiful. She raised my sweet momma and turned her into the angel she is now. I will always love my sweet memaw.
