The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Evelyn Gaisbauer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Monica Ahrens
Condolence: The history with our family and the Gaisbauers has been long and strong. We share so many memories over the years. They were both a significant part of both Andre's and Monica's childhood; BBQs, swimming in the pool, playing with Tasso and Ginger, Thanksgiving, Boxing Day; they were committed friends to our parents, Karl and Veronika. Both Evelyn and Hubert are sorely missed. With our deepest condolences, Veronika, Monica, Andre and Alicia Ahrens.

Condolence From: Rev. T. Leigh Olson, past minister at St. Luke's United Church, Etobicoke
Condolence: To Evelyn's family: I am so sad to hear of Evelyn's passing. Evelyn felt so blessed to have married such a wonderful and caring man. He made her everyday a delight. She was a woman of deep faith and convictions and was very generous to her church. You would always find her sitting on the pew in the narthex visiting with friends and welcoming people to Sunday worship. May she rest in peace with her Christ and those who have gone before her.

Condolence From: Ralf Soeder
Condolence: Sincere condolences to the Dokenwadel family and Evelyn's friends.
Having the pleasure of knowing Evelyn for 20 years brings memories of her many strengths. Evelyn was proud of the business she and her husband, Hubert had built. She was wise with their financial affairs, was very loyal, and if needed to be could show a lot of determination. Evelyn's friends at church meant a lot to her. Evelyn loved her home, especially the back garden with the pool and the ravine behind.
Rest In Peace Evelyn

Condolence From: Margo Simmons
Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons
