The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joan Pratt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Debbie Woods
Condolence: I had the delightful pleasure of traveling with Joan to the Philippines on a site visit with Outreach International. She was so positive and enthusiastic. Each time I looked at Joan, there was a smile on her face.

Prayers for comfort in your memories of such a vivacious, dedicated woman.

Debbie Woods

Condolence: Joan was a wonderfully good woman. We are fortunate to have known her and call her friend. God bless you, her family, and know that she is assured a place in the heavenly realm along side Jesus and the angels. May her love abide in your hearts always and forever.

Condolence: Dear Jerry and family - I am so sorry for our loss of Joan. She has been a good friend and colleague for many years - we have long worked together in the church nurses' association and the Health Ministries Association in more recent years. I have long admired her energy and dedication and caring - not only in nursing and teaching others, but in helping all who are in need! AND also: in raising funds for others - especially for future nurses (especially in Honduras and Guatemala). We are so pleased in HMA that she just started the new Endowment fund to ensure scholarships into the future - using her own funds! I hope you will understand that I want to honor Joan's memory by donating to that fund. I will miss Joan so much, but have been so grateful to know her all these years! XO
