Doris P. Lohse, age 86, of Backus, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Lakewood Care Center in Staples.
Doris was born August 11, 1931 at home in Ponto Lake Township to Ernest and Pauline (Whitted) Siltman. Doris and her mother shared the same birthdate.
Doris was united in marriage to Donald Luverne Lohse on July 3, 1948 in Pine River, MN.
Doris and Don had 3 children, Donnie Lee (Marna) of Backus, Darlene Merry Rollins (Scott) of Motley, and Delsie Elaine Flategraff (the late Bradley) of Gallatin Gateway, Montana. Doris and Don moved back to Pine River from North Dakota in the late 1950's to the farm where Doris resided until health reasons put her in the care center.
Doris leaves behind her 3 children; 3 grandsons, Bjorn (Angie) Flategraff, of Montana, Ian (Jen) Flategraff of Montana, and Andrew Rollins of Motley; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters, Wilma Witt and Hazel Humpheries; and son-in-law, Brad Flategraff.
Per Doris, no services will he held. Private family interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
