Condolence: Special thoughts and condolences to the family of Elaine. We know she will be missed, but she has fought the tough fight and is now at peace. She was looking forward to our 60th RHS Class Reunion and a special note will be made in her memory. We had talked and I was looking forward to seeing her again. Elaine definitely loved her family and did miss LeRoy. We had a good laugh when I told her my niece's dog was named LeRoy, he is a gentle and kind dog...Much like LeRoy was..They both had joined us for our RHS 70th Birthday event celebration and had a great picnic day! With love and deepest sympathy, Sandy and the Class of 1958 RHS.

Condolence From: Deanna Schuetz
Condolence: The Somers Senior Center will simply not be the same without Elaine. Elaine was an inspiration to me personally, and to so many others in the community.Elaine served on the Advisory Committee for Seniors for many years (most of which she served as secretary) and, until her illness progressed, never once missed a meeting. She contributed so much to the Senior Center and this community and we are forever grateful to her. I always referred to Elaine as "super woman" because she always amazed me with her strength and perseverance. She will always hold a special place in my heart and in the heart of so many here at the Somers Senior Center.
