Eleanor McCarty age 73 of Prestonsburg, died Sunday August 5, 2018. She was born April 20, 1945 to the late Hager and Hazel Williams McCarty. Eleanor was a custodian with the Mayo School. She is survived by one son Kevin (Jackie) McCarty of Prestonsburg, KY, two sisters: Garnett (Bill) Blanton of Dayton, OH, Joan Schneider of South Point, OH, one grandson Josh McCarty. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with David Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Litteral Cemetery at Oil Springs, KY.
