Elsie Ann Coatney, a resident of Clinton Twp., was received into Heaven on Sunday, August 5, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 82 years.

Elsie was born in Detroit on January 11,1936, the daughter of the late Evarist and Ann (Perov) Brunet. She met and was married to Russell Coatney. She managed the books and helped in the family restaurant business for many years. She was a dedicated homemaker who was known for her cakes as she enjoyed baking for the family and giving and being the life of the many parties. Elsie loved birds, especially cardinals. She was a loving and outgoing person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elsie is survived by her children, Wayne (Tina), David (Lisa), Renee (Bryan Blue) Porter, Susan (Warren Cole) Coatney and Andrea (John) Parisse. She is also survived by 11loving grandchildren and 2 great grand children and sisters, Janet, Carol and brother Daniel.
