Condolence: I just heard of the passing of my oldest friend Chris Gaxiola this past week, so even though it's been almost 2 years since you died, it's as if it happened yesterday for me. My earliest memories of Chris were when my family moved next to his Grandparents house on S.59th Steet in Tacoma when I was maybe 3 years old. Chris and I became best of friends and I have so many great memories growing up together with him. I always remember the time Lucille, his Grandmother wanted to get rid of a large Holly Bush in her yard and Chris and I decided to take care of it for her, we went in the Garage, mixed up a bunch of chemicals and poured it on the Tree, next thing you know Chris throws a Match on it and that Tree instantly turned into an inferno and caused quite a panic in the neighborhood, whatever it was we mixed up, it was like Rocket fuel and it still brings a smile to my face when I think of what rascals we were growing up. Gosh! I could write all night about Chris and all the great times we had growing up, but it makes me so sad we drifted apart and I wish we had kept in touch more. I talked to him in 2018 for about an hour and we had planned to travel to Wenatchee to visit, but a family emergency delayed that trip, now I realize that shortly after that conversation you passed away. Well Buddy, I miss you and will never forget you, life is short and your passing is a reminder for us all that spending time with those dear to your heart is important, because tomorrow in never guaranteed. I hope your face is one of the first I see when it's my time to pass on to Heaven and look forward to having some good laughs. My Prayers to your Family and your Wife Tami sounded like a wonderful person.

Condolence: Sadly we just got the pleasure of meeting Chris the 8th of August. Our San Diego family flew up to visit and meet the cousins and families we had not the the chance to meet yet. Tami and Chris came from watching their grandchildren for the "reunion" at his Dad's house. Chris make some wonderful chicken wings on the BBQ told us some stories, etc. We so enjoyed meeting them and just wish we had extended time with them! Just from word of mouth and viewing posts I can tell he was very loved! R.I.P. Chris Gaxiola...please have some of those wings waiting when I arrive!
