Obituary for Angelo Corvinelli

Corvinelli, Angelo

With great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Angelo on August 25, 2018.
Deeply missed by his beloved wife Argentina, daughters Rose and Linda and sons John (Angie) and Sergio (Vivienne). Proud Nonno to Rachel and Stephen. He is also remembered by Vicky (Phil), James (Annetta) and Martin (Gaynor). Sadly missed by his brother Luigi and all his nieces and nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his siblings Michael and Assunta and loving niece Lucy and nephew Mario. Angelo journeyed from Limosano, Italy to Toronto where he and Argentina raised their family. He could often be found tinkering in his garage and catching up with his fellow retirees over coffee. Angelo retired from a 37-year career at the Chrysler-Brampton plant and was a proud member of Local 1285. The family wish to thank all his nurses and doctors and special thanks to nurses Sherry and Heidi and Dr. Harild at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassionate care and kind words throughout his stay. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main St S Brampton, ON, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main St S Brampton, ON, on Wednesday at 10am. Entombment at Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd., Mississauga, ON to follow. At the family's request in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer society and Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
