Alice Mary Powers, “Ma Toad,” celebrated her 102nd birthday August 30, 2018 with her son Ted and her loving adopted family, the staff and volunteers of Mesilla Valley Hospice.

September 8, 2018, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, she was called to the join the celebration in Heaven, and she answered, “Yes.”

A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Please, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Mesilla Valley Hospice Foundation. Thanks, God Bless!
