Gena Lynn (Victory) Julien, age 56 of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday, September 9, 2018, at her home in Buffalo Valley.

She was born Saturday, November 25, 1961 in Detroit , Michigan, she was the daughter of Bobbie and Madeline (Herron) Victory.

Gena lived in several places and traveled the world, loved animals, loved to cook and loved her family. She was a very passionate soul. She was loved and will be missed greatly. Her bright spirit will be with us always. She studied the Bible and tried to better herself in life. Her son Barry Julien will remember her for her free spirit and compassion for life, and the impact she had on him growing into a man.

In addition to her parents she is survived by:

1 Son and Daughter-in-law;
Barry and Jackelyn Julien of Tampa, FL

Gena was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Robert Allen Victory, Maternal Grandparents: Roy and Maggie Herron and Paternal Grandparents: Roy and Lori Victory and many Aunts and Uncles.


The family has chosen cremation and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 beginning at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Son: Barry Julien officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.
