We hadn’t heard from Gena (or “E,” as we called her) in a while, but always assumed we would one day see her again. We’ve been profoundly sad these last few days, knowing that won’t happen. E had a great laugh and loved to make other people laugh. When she’d smile, her whole face would smile. When she’d laugh, her whole body would laugh. She was a beautiful spirit. We were blessed to have had her in our lives. We’re so sorry for Barry, her mother and father and the rest of her family. We can’t begin to fathom your loss.
