Kathryn M. Hoffert, 74, of Reading, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 in her home. She was the wife of Floyd D. Hoffert, Jr. Born in Reading, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Eva (Neetz) Zweizig and was a member of Zion Spies Evangelical Lutheran Church. Kathryn worked as a sorter for Temple Apparel. In addition to her husband, Kathryn is survived by three sons, Brett, Robert and Daniel all of Reading; one sister Nellie Eyrich wife of Karl of Alsace Township; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by one brother Neil Zweizig. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Zion Spies Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 Spies Church Road, Reading, PA 19606.
