Born in 1911 in Toronto, Marjorie died peacefully in her 108th year. Predeceased by Harry, her husband of 51 years, her 5 siblings, and her granddaughter Lynne. Loving mother of William (Loretta). Grandmother of Bob (Sarah), Karen (Bill), and Diane (Dave). Great grandmother of Bill (Ashley), Chris (Kaitlyn), Gary (Kandace), Sophia and Cameron. Great-great grandmother of Billy, Alexis, Colten, Cael, Brody and Chase. And many nieces and nephews. Special thanks for the years of kind and excellent care from Brenda Jarvis and all the wonderful and caring staff at Southbrook Retirement Lodge in Brampton.
In July, on her 107th birthday, Marjorie had 2 pieces of cake, a cup of tea and an ice cream cone. A full life.
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” (52 Main Street, S. Brampton) on Saturday September 22, 2018 from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. A Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 11:00a.m. Cremation has taken place.
