WALKER, Grace Madelyn (nee Thorburn)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the west Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Walker for 64 years. Loving mother of Brian (Marian), Dennis (Charlotte), Carolyn (Ken) and Gary (Mickey). Grace was the proud grandma of Jim (Sue), John, Heather (Andrew), Brad (Cheri), Alex, Chelsea (Ryan), Alicia, Laura, Lexie, Michelle and great- grandma to MacGregor, Marshall, Morgan, Brooke, Callie, Owen, Quinten, Hadlea and Audrey. Predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Violet Thorburn. Grace was a long time member of the Maggie Johnson Womens Institute as well as a faithful volunteer at the Glanbrook Home Support Programme. A special thank you to all of the staff at the R-Villa Caledonia Retirement Living Centre for all of their care and kindness. Family and friends will be received at the Miller Funeral Chapel, (28 Caithness St. E. Caledonia, ON) on Saturday, September, 22, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel on Sunday, September 23 at 2 p.m. Interment in Caledonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Glanbrook Home Support Programme (glanbrookcommunityservices.ca) or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
