Allan Ray “Butch” Douglas, 63, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his residence.
He was born December 2, 1954 son of Oda George Edward and Anna Mae “Sis” Douglas.
Before Butch became disabled he loved hanging siding with his son Doug. He also loved deer hunting, horseback riding and sitting around plunking on his old guitars. Even though he really couldn’t play them, but he sure loved trying. He loved Lane, I. J. and Tammy or whoever he could get to come over to play and sing for him. After he moved to Hickory Hills Apartments, he would ride his little power chair around and visit with everyone until he just wasn’t able to get out anymore. But he loved everyone there and really loved to get out and visit with them.
Survivors include; son Doug (Bridgette) Douglas, brother Bud (Doris) Douglas; sisters Linda (James) Lincoln; Brenda Kirkpatrick and Janet (Jerry) Howell all of Marble Hill; grandchildren Brett Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Crystal (Steve) Merrell and Dustin Browning and great grandchildren Cadence, Jerod, and Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Michael Douglas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Stroup and Rev. Elijah Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
