Evelyn Gregg Widdis 58 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Saturday Sept.22, 2018. She is the wife of Kenneth Widdis. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of Evelyn (Swanson) Gregg of Teaneck, N.J. and the late William Gregg.
Evelyn was a resident of the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 25 years and prior to that resided in the Mt. Arlington, N.J. area. She was of the catholic faith.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a daughter Jeanne Thompson of E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and a son Charles Thompson of Nelsonville, Ohio, 3 grandchildren: Gianna, Julian and Emma and her siblings, William, Jack and Edward Gregg and Jeanne Rispoli.
A memorial prayer service will be announced at a later date. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. is in charge of the arrangements.
