Condolence From: Susan & John Flavin
Condolence: It is difficult to express our shock and sadness at the news of Patty’s death. We have known Patty & Jay for almost 50 years. There were several of us (recently married couples) living in the Dina Terrace apartments some 49 years ago. Patty & Jay were one of those couples. We were all just starting out in life so we didn’t have a lot of money, but we made our own fun. The guys played volleyball in the pool and the girls played bridge while sunbathing. There were corn roasts, parties at each other’s apartments, couples bridge, and eventually a couple of houseboat trips. We developed some lifelong friendships during that time. Although we all moved in different directions we have stayed in touch with Pat & Jay over the years. Every time we we saw each other it was as if it were just yesterday. Patty was so active, vibrant, and involved with her family and the things in life that were important to her. Patty will be deeply missed. It is difficult to express our sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jay and the family. May they find peace from their love and wonderful memories.

Condolence From: Kathie Verderber
Condolence: I knew Pat and family years ago when we carpooled our children to the Mt. Campus School. I remember her to be a vivacious spirit, with a ready smile and easy laugh who loved having fun. She was someone deeply in love with her husband, and devoted to her children, her faith, and her church. Praying that God grants all of her close family and friends the peace of knowing that she is now busy enjoying the company of her Lord.
