Obituary for Dana Milley
Dana W. Milley, 71, of Nashua died peacefully at St. Joesph Hospital on September 20, 2018. He was born in Framingham, MA, a son of the late Donald and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Therriault) Milley.
Dana flew helicopters in the Vietnam War for the United States Army, 90th Aviation Company, 517th Transportation Detachment. He attended East Coast Aero Tech and from there went to G.E. in Lynn, Ma assembling jet engines and was later promoted to Management.
His passion for food and cooking led him to Atlantic Culinary Academy where he met his fiancé Jill and upon graduation they opened a restaurant in Ascutney, Vermont. After retiring he used his creative talents to sketch and draw.
In addition to his loving fiancé Jill, he is survived by his sons Shane Milley and Brandon Milley, his grandchildren Marissa and Shea; his brother Glenn Milley, and his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and very dear friends from Millinocket, Maine.
SERVICES: Funeral and interment services will be held in Millinocket at the convenience of his family.
