Memorial services for Rose Peak, 50, of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 beginning at 1:00pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday October 10, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.
The family will inter her cremains at a later date in Paran Cemetery.
Rose passed from this life Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 24, 1968 in Warren, Michigan to the late Matthew Carmen Sardo and Rita Faye Sardo of Cookeville.She was the granddaughter of the late Gordon E. Stephens and Velma Marie Boatman Stephens
Rose was a homemaker, and a wonderful cook. She worked at Cedar Hills Retirement Center for a few years before being put on disability. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family including her three sons, Gordon K. Sardo, Cameron M. Sardo and Dustin C. Walden, all of Cookeville.She always felt great joy seeing her niece, Christina Elliott, and babysitting her great niece La Shea Strode along with her two great nephews, Ryker Strode and Noah Elliott.
Rose is survived by her husband Freddie Peak, mother, Rita Sardo and sister Susan Kimes, all of Cookeville.
Rose leaves behind half brothers and sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
