Condolence From: Jackson's Funeral Homes Family
Condolence: Dear Smith Family,

We at Jackson's Funeral Home remember September 21, and the life of Brett Smith. It is our hope that this quote by Thomas Bailey Aldrich brings you comfort as you remember him on this day. "What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness, stardust or sea-foam, flower or winged air."

You are in our thoughts,
Jackson's Funeral Homes Family

Condolence: My wife & I did not know Brett Michael, but we regret the sorrow you feel. We’ve grieved the loss of sons who were just a little younger than him, and I’m sure it doesn’t feel like it now, but we can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on your loss. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your families.
We are of the Christian faith and we dealt with our pain based on our belief that God is still sovereign even when we don’t understand tragedy. May you find comfort as you walk through this “valley of the shadow of death” and may friends share their good memories Brett Michael with you

Condolence From: Earnest Grisham
Condolence: My condolences to the Smith families. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Brett. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
