Julia M. Burke,90, passed away Tuesday September 25th at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia.

Born and educated in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Johanna (Verhagen) Deorazio and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.

A homemaker, Julia was a longtime volunteer at St Clare’s Hospital and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.

Predeceased by her husband of 58 years Harold M. Burke Sr., Julia is survived by her children; Harold M. Burke Jr. (Carol) of Rotterdam and Judith A. Eldred of Schenectady, her grandchildren; Harold Burke III(Angela) of TN, Andrew Burke(Jennifer) of Rotterdam and Terri Stone of NC, great grandchildren; Johanna and Jacqueline Stone and Abigale M. and Theodore R Burke

Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of her family.

Entombment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
