Memories of my sister

Lois, named after her maternal grandpa Louis Schoenherr, and Marie, our mother's middle name, was born in April of 1944 when sister Shirley and I really celebrated; "A baby sister finally", after 7 brothers! I remember oh so we'll what a doll with her blonde hair and blue eyes that we could care for and play with. Once I recall dressing her up in a pink seersucker coat and bonnet. Lois was my right hand as babysitter and helper when we moved many times including to Lewiston and in Florida. She sewed and created many things like Barbie clothes for her nieces and later on enjoyed helping make many unique times for Lynn's Haiti benefits. I have many things to remember her with including, the quilt on my bed she put together for me, cross sticking projects including Dogwood and Michigan pictures, as well as a beautiful ceramic crib set which she also made for her nieces as well. There are many other gifts I have received from her over the years. I am so grateful the most recent trip Lois,Deanie and I were able to take to Florida last winter. Also I am thankful for the many trips up north they made in recent years. Lois I really miss you. Love you most! Your sister Donna
