Joseph George Marrone, 75, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey, prior to his retirement.

Joe, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, enjoyed relaxing at home and being with his family.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Sarah (Jones) Marrone, his sister, Melodie Trimble, his brother and sister-in-law, William H. and Doris (Witkowski) Marrone, his son-in-law, William Grieb and his niece, Darlene (Marrone) Stanley who entered in God’s eternal rest several hours after him.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Toni Delgado and husband Daniel; his longtime companion of twenty-five years, Phyllis Badessa; his son Michael Marrone and wife Gina; his granddaughter, Cassie Grieb and his great-grandson, Liam Grieb; his stepchildren, Jen Bonczkiewicz and husband James, Michele Benedetti, Sandra McNett; his step grandchildren, Erica Delgado and fiancée Ray, Anissa Colon and husband Joseph, Daniel Delgado, Jr and Brandi, Lucy, Jay, Matthew, Michael, CJ, Shanell, Kenny, Christopher, Jacob and Torena; his step great-grandchildren, Jaslynn, Jaeliana, Arianna, Maleah, Jaritza, Jaysmari and Joseph Jr.; his special cousin, Jessie Seals and wife Carol; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Hamilton Brenna Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, 3039 S. Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 3, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
