Adeline Mae Murphy, age 97, of Brainerd passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Woodland-Good Samaritan Society. Adeline was born on May 16, 1921 in Willmar to Albin & Mabel (Stene) Tengwall. Adeline married James Murphy and they had two children. She worked as a manager at Mr. Tubs in Brainerd.
Adeline will be remembered by her grandsons: Jeff Somerville and Brian Somerville; great grandchildren: Brenden, Laicy, Molley and Aubrey; brother, Orville Tengwall.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, Alan; daughter, Beverly Somerville; brother LeRoy Tengwall; great grandson, Shelby Somerville.
A memorial service for Adeline will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11AM at Bethlehem Lutheran church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
