William R. Rolff, 67, of Whiting as of March and formerly of Carlstadt, passed away on October 7, 2018. For seven years, he resided in Key West, Florida. William was a passionate freelance artist. His style was primarily primitive expressive. Working in clay, oils, acrylics and a multitude of mediums he created magnificent works of art. Bill admired all religions and found peace in his last days through meditative practice. He was so happy to spend time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh with them and tell wonderful stories. Bill was a rare gem. He was a kind, sweet soul who will be dearly missed each and every day. We love you Billy. Devoted son of the late William and Lynn (nee Kinna) Rolff. Loving brother of Carole A. Newman and her husband Barry, Sharon Pillischer, Bruce Rolff and Karl T. Rolff and his wife Kim. Caring uncle of Dawn, Carrie, Kelsey, Ross, Jesse and great nieces and great nephews. Long time friend of Gary Antebi. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Cremation East Ridgelawn Crematory, Clifton.
