Margaret A. Ayers 73 of Sciota, Pa. died on Monday Oct.8, 2018. She was the widow of Kenneth Ayers. Born in Hamilton, Ontario she was the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Lietch) Nicholson. Margaret was a resident of the Sciota area for the past 40 years and prior to that she resided in the New York and New Jersey areas. She worked as a nurse for many years and she was of the catholic faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna Ayers of Denver, Colorado and Barbara Ayers of Lafayette Hill, Pa., 4 grandchildren: Addison, Noah, Zach and Maxwell, 3 great grandchildren :Kailey, Aubrey and Gwndolyn and her siblings: Jane Nicholson of New York, Thomas Nicholson and wife Ellen of Stokesdale, N.C., John Nicholson and David Nicholas wife Charlene both of Sciota. Margaret was preceded in death by a great grandson Alexander.

Graveside services will be held on Friday Oct. 12, 2018 at 11:00am at Laurelwood Cemetery Bryant St. Stroudsburg, Pa. burial will follow the services. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23N.9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa.
