Frank Reilly, 90, passed away on Sunday Oct. 7 at home surrounded by his family. Spending his entire life in New Jersey, he grew up in South Orange, raised his family in Short Hills and later retired to Brielle. After graduating from Columbia High school, he received his undergraduate degree from Lowell Textile Institute, Lowell, Mass., then his Masters of Business from New York University. Frank started his career in retailing at Brooks Brothers then served as Vice President and Merchandise Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue. He eventually returned to Brooks Brothers as President and Chief Executive Officer where he retired in 1990 at the age of 62.

Among his many accomplishments Frank served as President of the Deafness Research Foundation, Trustee of the Commission for the Blind and was a trustee at the Colonial Williamburg Foundation. He was a former Trustee of Overlook Hospital, Summit as well as Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Frank was also a member of Manasquan River Golf Club.

Frank is predeceased by his father, Francis Patrick and mother Cora Perry Reilly, as well as his brother Robert and sister-in-law Virginia. Surviving is his wife and junior high school sweet heart, Betty Mulligan Reilly, who whe was married to for 67 years. They raised 7 children together: Chip (Ginny), Mary, Pat, Kathy, Nancy Cotter (Dennis), Tom (Diana) and Carol. He is also the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren: Patrick, Megan & Colleen Reilly, Peter, Caitlin & Kevin Gray, Bridget, Sean, Brendan & MaryKate Cotter, Clay & Shannon Reilly and 5 great grandchildren: Keagan & Shea Reilly and Landon, Reilly & Carlin Kratz.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation Friday, October 12, 2018 5-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 10:30 am at St. Denis Church, Manasquan, NJ.
