Jane K. Thom passed away at home Oct. 5. She the was second child of Leif and Anna Bornes. She was raised in Billings but having family in Norway was able to experience the Norwegian Heritage she was so proud of. She raised her family in Libby after she married Wade Smith Sr. who lost a battle with cancer several years later. She remarried to Keith Thom and remained married until her passing. She was a loving and devoted mother to sons Robbie and Wade Jr. She was a dedicated and hard working employee, the jane of all trades, working as a truck driver briefly, layout designer for Western News, Insurance Agent for Farmers Ins. and more recently manager at Town Pump. The people she worked with she enjoyed so much, many calling her Nana Jane. She liked crafting, sewing and antiques. She loved her family and enjoyed being a grandmother most of all.

She is survived by husband Keith, sister Bernie, son Wade Jr. and wife Merry, and grandchildren Bjorn, Alida, Brynja and Gavin.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Leif and Anna, brother Bjorn, husband Wade Smith Sr., and son Robert Smith. We take comfort that she is with them now.

Memorial service and reception will be held Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. Fellowship hall First Presbyterian 235 S. 5th St. W.
