As someone who had been an aquaintance of Vicki for a good number of years- I taught her boys at Corpus Christi School where she always made herself available to assist or lead in roles both large and small, and was always supportive of all the students and staff- the news of her passing is indeed a shock. I had enjoyed having the opportunity to meet up with her and her family at the Inner City Home silent auction/supper/dance over the last few years. I was saddened when we didn't meet at the last occasion, as I looked forward to seeing her and her boys. I can only surmise that she had her reasons for missing, and I can somehow console myself by the fact I have benefitted from our encounters. I will always remember her cheerful demeanour, and ever-present smile. She will be sadly missed, and I offer my sincere condolences to her entire family.
