Carson R. Cameron, 31, a resident of Dunham Ave. in North Bennington died unexpectedly Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, New Hampshire.

He was born in Bennington, Vermont September 22, 1987. He was the son of Roderick and Valerie (Tinney) Cameron. He received his early education in North Bennington and was a 2006 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. In 2008 Carson graduated with honors from Hudson Valley Community College with an associate’s degree in auto science.

For nine years Carson was employed as a field representative with Hemmings Motor News. Carson’s job allowed him to travel throughout the United States. For several years he lived on the west coast. Most recently Carson was employed at Stratton Mountain where he was employed in real estate maintenance.

While in high school Carson was a member of the Mt. Anthony Lacrosse Team. He enjoyed snowboarding and loved motorcycles and old cars.

Survivors include his parents Rod and Valerie Cameron of North Bennington. Two brothers, Tyler Cameron and his son Jaxon of Burlington, VT and Justus Cameron and his wife Kristen of Clarendon, VT. An uncle Scott Tinney of Austin, Texas and four aunts, Lisa Woodcock (Steve) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Camille Decelles (Dave) of Pittsfield, MA, Donna Joseph of Springfield, MA. and Jean Woodard (Ed) of Shaftsbury, VT and several cousins. He is also survived by his wonderful and faithful friend Courtney from Stratton, VT. Carson was predeceased by his loving grandmother Elizabeth (Libby) Tinney in 2017.

At the request of the family there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

The private burial services will take place in the family lot at Hinsdiville Cemetery in North Bennington.
