Print
Amos Loving was born a twin on August 13, 1926, in Tillatoba Mississippi. Amos was known "Daddy" to many people, whether he was your father or not. Amos was a father to many, as he helped them to grow. He married three times which he produced a very warm, blended, happy family in a small house at 9917 South Lowe in Chicago, Illinois. Amos enjoyed many things, he liked to hunt, he also loved his dogs. Amos was also known as UNC to many as he had a twin brother and two sisters. Amos served in the Navy, he also worked as a lone shoreman, off the docks for many years. Amos loved all people, his kids knew that their daddy loved them all. He was also very a deep thinker and would give very good stern talks, full of knowledge. He also was a man of God, a lover of Christ.
Preceded in death by his loving wives: Shirley Jean Loving, Clara Loving and Louise Loving; brother, Namos Loving; sisters; Odessa and Essie; son, Amos Loving, Jr; daughter Leticia Loving.
He is survived by his children: Angelean Loving, Michael Loving, Lance Loving, Darryl Cleaton, Yvonne Ball, Earl Cleaton; lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.
