Harvey Jones, Jr, age 86, of Powder Springs passed away October 30, 2018. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 7:00pm at St. John Vianney Catholic Church of Lithia Springs with Father Morales officiating. The family will receive visitors Friday at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram from 6-8pm.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death: Wife – Mary A. Jones and Son – Vincent Michael Jones
Survivors include: Long time loving partner - Julia Jones of Powder Springs; 2 Daughters – Cecilia and Thomas Barnett of Matthews, NC and Cindy and Brian Cowart of Milledgeville, GA; Son – Warren Jones of Long Beach, Ms.; Brother – Richard and Nellie Jones of Edgewater, Maryland; 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Jones retired from Trust Company Bank after 30 years, was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Treasurer of McEachern Woods Homeowners Association, was a musician and artist and loved reading. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
