Irene Patricia Bertrand
March 14th 1947-October 31, 2018

In loving memory of Irene Patricia Bertrand (nee McNabb) who passed away on Wednesday, October 31 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Loving wife of Morris Bertrand (predeceased), beloved mother to Melanie (Ross) and Mac (Vanessa) and wonderful “Nanny” to her grandchildren Simon and Isabel McKague, and Callum and Charlotte Bertrand—the source of her greatest joy.

Irene was a devoted sister to Allan (Lola) McNabb, Geoff (Nancy) McNabb, Kim (Pat) Morrissette and, and very special Auntie to their children.

Irene’s care and affection for others ran deep and wide, the reciprocation of which during these last, more difficult years, she was most grateful for. Many heartfelt thanks to her family and friends for their love and compassion, and to her palliative care team. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.

A Celebration of Life
