Shirley May (Howser) Shears, 75 of Macon, MO passed away on Sunday evening, November 4, 2018 at Loch Haven Nursing in Macon, Mo.

She was born June 15, 1943 the daughter of Howard and Sara (Blankeship) Hower in Dixon, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Caspar Shears Jr. and one daughter Tina Deierling.

Shirley is survived by her children, Steve Shears of Macon, Mo, Leon and Brenda Shears of Macon, MO; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; Son-in-law, Clifford Deierling. of Kirksville, Mo.; Sisters, Judy (Dean) Coleman of Huntsville, Mo, Joyce Chambers of Iberia, Mo; brother, Kenny, Carl and Arthur Howser of Iberia, Mo.

Shirley was a quiet and extremely hardworking farmer alongside her husband on their farm in Macon. She loved and devoted her life to her family. She loved flowers, gardening and going yard saleing.

A Graveside Service is planned for Wednesday November 7, 2018 at 1:00pm at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Macon, Mo.
