Mrs. Lillie Gaston was born on August 8, 1934, in Bainbridge, Georgia. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ, where she was a dedicated member. She served faithfully as a Mother of the Church, Usher and Hospitality Committee, Lillie was a wonderful homemaker.

She was united in Holy matrimony to Henry Gaston. This union was blessed with eight children.

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life, Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Gaston and son, (First born), Ronnie Goodwin.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Donill Goodwin of W. Memphis, AK, Anthony Gaston, Jennifer (Walter) Lindsey, Cynthia Jones, Christopher Gaston, Mary (James) Keyes, Martha (Michael) Odom, and step-daughter, Emma Phillips, all of Toledo; 23 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; devoted family members and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at 4:00 pm, preceded by a 3:00 pm Wake, at Precious Blood Church, 5253 Bennett Rd, Toledo, Ohio. Interment will be at Forest Cemetery.
