Elizabeth M. Timms, 91, of Scranton, died Monday November 19, 2018 at Regional Hospital of Scranton, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Howard B. Timms who died in 2015. They were married for 68 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Lydia Gaus Graff. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, she was employed in the local garment industry. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Elizabeth and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the world and they truly loved their large, multi-generational family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are daughters Elizabeth Thomas and husband William, Scranton, with whom she resided, Susan Vennick and husband Andy, Moosic; sons Howard Jr. and wife Gladys, Moosic, Daniel and wife Helen, Clarks Summit, Ernest and wife Erica, Moosic, Michael, and wife Cindy, Scott Twp., and Christopher and wife Darcy, Alabama; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother Robert Graff, Scranton.
She was preceded in death by sister Lillian Koloras; and a brother Donald Graff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Dunmore. Friends and family may pay their respects Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
