Thomas Murray Ramey, age 82 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. He was born August 2, 1936 to the late George W. and Mary Potter Ramey in Pike County, KY.

Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by; one sister Ample Kupperman, brothers Carmen Ramey, Dowzel Ramey, Raymond Ramey & Johnny Ramey.

Thomas is survived by; two daughters, Lisa (Doug) Childress of Roanoke, VA. and Acina (Bryon) Greene of Charleston, South Carolina.; one son Larry Ramey of Elkhorn City, KY.; one brother Douglas Earl Ramey of Lick Crk. KY, one sister, Pearl Prun of New Orleans, three grandchildren; Jonathon Greene, Lauryn (Patrick) Wells & Johnda Owens & a special friend, Hazel Lester of Elkhorn City, KY.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 9:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Aaron Butler officiating. Burial will follow at the Ramey Cemetery of Elkhorn City, KY. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
