Lalonde, Raymond “Scott”
August 29, 1970 - December 24, 2018
On Monday, December 24, 2018, after a short battle with cancer Scott passed away at the age of 48 years.
Scott was an amazing, loving husband to Monica; a wonderful father to daughters, Vanessa & Katrina Wray; a dedicated son to Barb; loving brother to Rick (Diane) and Steve; uncle to Michael, Chris and Jason; as well as a dear friend to many. He was predeceased by his dad, Richard.
Besides the love of his family and friends, Scott’s passions were his motorcycle, learning all he could about saltwater aquariums, music and spending his time with his family at their trailer in Fairmount (aka their “happy place”) where he loved to barbecue on his charcoal pit amongst other things.
Scott was a caring, loving, kind spirited man. He had high standards and lived his life to those standards through love and work. His family would like to thank his Doctor and staff at the Tom Baker Centre and a very heart filled thank you to the caregivers and volunteers at the Dulcina Hospice for all the compassionate care they gave to Scott. Scott’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with along with those he has never met.
A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with tributes starting at 12:00 noon.
