Obituary for William A Csehi Sr.

William A  Csehi Sr.
WILLIAM (BILL) A CSEHI SR. of Somerset died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.
He was 94 years old.

Born in New Brunswick, Bill resided in Somerset for the past 62 years.
Enlisting at age 17 in the USMC, Bill proudly served his country as a PFC, Artillery, 4th Marine Division during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.

Prior to his retirement in 1989, he worked as an auto mechanic for 40 years, along with his father John at the
Easton Avenue Garage, New Brunswick. Mr. Csehi then became a fleet Mechanic for Franklin State Bank for over ten years.

Bill was a communicant of St. Ladislaus Church in New Brunswick and was a member of its St. Emery Club.
He was also a member of the St. Ladislaus K of C #9925 earning the 4th degree and a member of the VFW Post 370 both in
New Brunswick. Bill was a founding member of the Sportsman Rod and Gun Club of Montaque, NJ. He enjoyed
the Jersey shore and fishing at Midway Beach. Bill was also an avid gardener.

Predeceased by his daughter Mary Ellen Csehi 2011; a sister Margaret Szur 2018.

Surviving are his wife of 71 yrs. Elizabeth (Radics) Csehi; son William Jr. (Rubye); daughters Joanne Kuhn, and Arlene Spinelli
(Larry); 4 grandchildren & 1 great grandson.

Funeral services will be Monday 9:00am from the GLEASON FUNERAL HOME, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset thence to St.
Ladislaus Church, New Brunswick for a 10:00am funeral mass. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery New Brunswick. Visitation at Gleason Funeral Home
Sunday 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
