Obituary for Ramona M. Montoya
Ramona Montoya, age, 92, a resident of Los Lunas, went home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 5, 2019. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a true woman of God, a strong prayer warrior, always praying for her family and anyone that was in need of prayer. She was a huge example of what a Christian woman should be. She will be missed by many.
Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, Triney Montoya; her parents, Donicio and Piedad Sanchez; two brothers, Henry and Paul Sanchez, two sisters, Seferina Perea and Sally Apodaca; a niece, Jennifer Marquez; nephew, Dennis Apodaca; mother-in-law, Stella Abeyta; brothers-in-law, Max Montoya and Emelio Perea.
She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Kurtz and her husband, Kevin, and Gina Terraza and her husband, Ralph; grandchildren, Delaya Luna (Nathan), Kaleb Kurtz (Tania), Eric Trujillo (Ashley), Adam Trujillo (Marissa) and Samantha Savedra; great-grandchildren, Elias, Nadayias, Evanie, and Zeriah; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A special thanks to Hospice Amber Car, Pastor Richard, Marisol, Rachel, Ms. Garley, and Kyla for your love and kindness you showed our mom. Also, Pastor David and Pastor Enrique for coming to visit and pray for her, she loved you all so much.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Calvary Chapel New Harvest Church, in Los Lunas, NM, beginning with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., the funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place following the funeral service at San Clemente Cemetery in Los Lunas, NM.
Pallbearers are Kaleb Kurtz, Nathan Luna, Leon Garcia, Matthew Barela, Ernie Perea, and Ronnie Perea. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Savedra and Elias Luna.
