Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. James Patrick Gearey (former Potentate of Karnac Shrine Temple of Montreal and past Warden of St. James Anglican Church, Maitland) at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Joan (Wise) Gearey. Dear father of James (Jay) and his wife Lisa Quesnel and of Jonathan (Jon) and his wife Louise Thibault. Also survived by six grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters Patricia and Jean.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. A celebration of James' life will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Maitland, at a later date.
