Obituary for Antoinette Amabile
Antoinette Amabile, 92 of Bushkill passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono. She was the wife to Anthony W. Amabile, celebrating 58 years of marriage. Antoinette was born in Harlem, New York to the late Peter and Amelia (Bruno) Amabile.
Antoinette had lived in the Bushkill area for the past 28 years and prior to that in New York. She was of the Catholic faith. Antoinette was a loving mother and spent her days taking care of her family.
In addition to her husband Anthony, Antoinette is survived by her son; Joseph Amabile and wife Sharon of Bushkill, her sister Anna Patrone, and a niece; Lucy Calderera, along with many other nieces and nephews. Antoinette is preceded in death by her daughter; Emily Amabile, and her sister Grace Calderera.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 9:30-10:30AM, with a mass of Christian burial at Saint John’s Church, 5171 Milford Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302. Entombment will follow in Prospect Cemetery Mausoleum, East Stroudsburg, PA. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
