Obituary for Richard "Bub" Antor

ANTOR – Richard “Bub” Antor, age 91, of Alpine Township, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 10, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Minnie Antor; brother, Bernard Antor; sister, Mildred Dolphin; and son-in-law, Paul Krupp. Bub is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean; beloved children, Nancy Krupp, Barb (Harry) Huffman, Karen (Mark) Cvanciger, and Ronald (Mary) Antor; brothers, Norbert (Florence) Antor and Gordon Antor; sisters-in-law, Judy Pope and Doris Cramer; brother-in-law, Max (Shirley) Van Natter; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Bub proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Bub was employed with the Kent County Road Commission for 32 years. Bub's fondest memories include spending time with family and friends at the cottage on Little Bass Lake. Visitation will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Sunday, January13 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m., with Deacon Jerry Roersma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road Comstock Park with Rev. Father Tony Pelak as celebrant and under the auspice of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider Heartland Hospice, Association for the Blind or Holy Trinity Catholic School.
