Born April 19th, 1928 in Brantford, Ontario
Passed away with family at her bedside at Mathews House Hospice, in Alliston on Tuesday January 29, 2019.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Powell. Lovingly remembered by her children Lynda Vanderkooi (John) of Toronto, Murray James Walsh (Sandra Keith) of Alliston, Deborah Bodemer (David) of Brampton and Robert Walsh (Monica) of Toronto. Loving nanny to Sherry, Marilyn and Nikki Vanderkooi, Katie Bailie, Krista Stacey, Tyler and Karley Walsh, Connor Bodemer, Nicole Keith, David and Dalton Stocco and loving Great nanny to 11. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at the Drury Funeral Centre on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12 noon until 4 p.m., with sharing of memories at 2:30 p.m. If so desired memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated.
