Condolence From: Jackson's Funeral Homes Family
Condolence: Dear Hicks Family,

We at Jackson's Funeral Home remember April 15, and the life of Craig Hicks. It is our hope that this quote by Thomas Bailey Aldrich brings you comfort as you remember him today. "What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness, stardust or sea-foam, flower or winged air."

You are in our thoughts,
Jackson's Funeral Homes Family

Condolence: Rip to my teacher .. you were always so nice and your sense of humor always cracked me up . Everyday in class you would talk to us about how your previous day went or about your mom .. you always talked about her & your roommate . It seems like it was just yesterday you were talking about getting your leak fixed. You always had something to talk about even if it was about the most random things or about your health . It feels weird walking to your classroom and you not standing at the door or you not sitting at the front of the class talking about life to us even if most of the students weren't listening. But me and my brother always did and laughed.. Every day me and my brother would crackup at how you would respond to students when they would have something smart to say You always had a good and quick comeback 🤣 .it feels like it was just yesterday you awarded me the “fleek” award for having the highest grade out of all your classes. But that was last year.. a week ago today I seen you for the last time I would have never thought that would be the last time I would see you .rest in peace Mr.Hicks .

Condolence From: Richard Milburn Academy Staff and Students
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to Mr. Hicks family. Craig was a wonderful teacher, mentor and staff member to our staff and students. Always smiling and compassionate. He volunteered wherever and whenever there was a need. He went above and beyond for his students. He will be missed here at RMA-Houston and I know at South Houston HS.

Condolence From: Regina Sutton
Condolence: My deepest sympathy for the family. He was my co-worker at Richard Milburn Academy and he was always so nice with such a great sense of humor. He loved teaching and he was a great teacher. He was patient and understanding with his students. He didn't mind teaching me how to use software and where to find information on the programs and he always found something funny to say about it that would make me laugh. He was a great conversationalist. His passing away is a painful loss for the school and his friends and he will be missed so much. I knew he had health problems because he talked about it. Still, his passing was unexpected and sudden. I take some comfort in knowing that he is with God and he will no longer suffer from heart problems or diabetes.
