Condolence: I first met Mrs Buerkle in 1998, when I got married and moved to America from Russia. At that time I didn't know anybody involved in an international marriage, and I wasn't sure how it may work out. But that year, during her (famous) Christmas party I saw her whole family together, and the way they interacted with each other, with great love and respect. I realized that the cultural differences within a marriage are by no means a barrier to true love! She will always remain in my heart an example of true devotion to family and God!

Condolence: I have known mrs. Buerkle since I was 5 years old, and that was 50 years ago. Since that time I have known her to always be very welcoming, kind-hearted, honest,and God-loving. She has always had a smile on her face, and kind words for everyone. She was very optimistic and encouraging, even at times when she didn't feel well. She loved life, loved people, and truly enjoyed living! Simply the thought of her would bring a smile to one's face. These are my, and my family's memory of her.
