Condolences

Condolence From: David Harris
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Carell family. I had the honor of spending time with Ed as a member of the Acton Minutemen over several years. We could always count on Ed to bring a sense of joy and humor to all of our activities, be it regular meetings, company dinners or our many public engagements. And he always maintained a sense of reverence, dignity and sincerity about what we were representing, as so many of his generation did. He helped us remember, and we will remember him.

Condolence From: Ann Wald - Honor Flight
Condolence: Edwin and I had a wonderful time visiting the WWII, Korea and Vietnam Memorials in Washington D.C. in September 2016 during an Honor Flight trip. His great humor and touching gravitas in describing his family and war stories will stay with me forever. I'll miss you, Edwin. Give Harriet a hug for me.

Condolence: Steve, I am sorry for your loss. I met your dad and mom about 10 years ago while they were shopping in a men's clothing store for Christmas. I had a nice conversation about you. As you already know, they were so proud of you.

Condolence: Dallas and I want to pass along our heartfelt condolences to the Carell family on the passing of Ed. He was truly one of the very finest people. It would be impossible to overstate the impact on my own life that being around terrific folks like Ed and Harriet has had. Ed's wonderful combination of decency and strength will continue to serve as an example to those of us who were lucky enough to have known him.
