Obituary for Ruthie A. Sharper (Harris)

On April 12, 1953, a beautiful baby girl named Ruthie Ann Harris Sharper was born in Crosbyton, Texas to Marcell White and Brooker T. Harris. Ruthie received her education at Union Hill ISD. Ruth had a love for helping others which groomed her for her career as a Professional Care Aide in many nursing homes in life. Ruth enjoyed her work and was well known for her love of cooking and her positive can-do attitude. She loved others and would give you the clothes off her back.
Ruthie leaves to cherish her memories, her beautiful daughter Debbie A. Harris Grant; two sons, Jerimy M. Harris and George W. Sharper; son in law, Robert L. Grant Jr.; special granddaughter, Keria Ann Grant; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Johnny Ruth Harper, Ella M. Burns, Glenda Robinson and Pat; brothers, Willie H. McKnight, Albert C. McKnight, Tommy W. Jones, B.T. Harris, Milton Harris, Donnie Harris, Marcus Harris and Terry Harris; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ida M. Beasley and Sheila Harris.
