Obituary for Alice Cormier

CORMIER, ALICE Alice Cormier, 71, of Shediac passed away on December 7th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 8th, 1944 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Émile and Exelda (LeBlanc) Doiron. A volunteer in her community, Alice was a social, good humored, family oriented person who enjoyed traveling. She was a former employee with the Shediac Coop and a Tourist Ambassador for the town of Shediac. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Raymond; her two daughters: Francine Cormier-Losier (Serge) of Shediac, Nicole LeBlanc (Derek) of Moncton; two sisters: Éola LeBlanc, Éva Bourque (Aldéi) all of Shediac; one brother: Auguste Doiron (Claudette) of Shediac and by two grandchildren: Isabelle and Samuel LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Amédée, Andréa, Alfred, Aldora and Jeanne. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, December 10th from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, on Friday, December 11th from 9:30 till time of departure at 10:15am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Friday, December 11th at 10:30am. In memory of Alice, a contribution to the Oncology Unit of the CHU Dr. Georges-L. Dumont would be appreciated. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
